My childhood was not special, similar other people. After went to kindergarten, and I played with friends in play ground. I’m always played house, we made rice by sand, side dish by flower. Also, we acted likes mother and father. One day, I played part of mother, other day part of baby. At my home, I played with my younger sister, sometime I sang for her, and we danced for parents. We had many pets that turtle, rabbit, and hamster etc, so we always played them. In addition, I learned swimming, ballet, and piano. Even if, I stated that my mother wanted to, but I liked them. Especially, I liked swimming, because I liked water, and I often ate soup with my friend after swimming class. I never forget the flavor. I was shy girl, but my mother help that change my personality with this activity.

A Memory from My Childhood
I would define childhood as a never-ending vacation and a weekend without a week following and playtime everlasting. I was born and brought up in a big family which included my mother, father, three brothers, and five sisters. The city that I was born in is Khamees Mushait which is a military city since my father is general in Saudi Army. Me and my brothers and sisters were waiting for my father to come back to the house on Friday because he promised us to go out for a picnic. Actually, minutes were felt as an hour. As we heard the door of the house shut, we ran toward my father. I still remember his face. It was a light on his face shining. He told us to grab all stuff that we need for a picnic quickly while he was changing his clothes. So we got all stuff and got in the car waiting for him. And then he drove toward a place that sells a goat to buy one. After he bought the goat, he took us to a place that we have never been there before. Then he hung the goat up on one of tree’s branch in order to slice the goat into small pieces of meat. Some of the meat pieces were cooked and some of them were grilled. As we were there, the weather was cloudy which is so good. When we finished eating the goat, the sun went down and we came back to the house. At the end, I wish those old days come back again to savor every moment happily.
Mummery From my Childhood
ReplyDeleteA mummery of my childhood could be different than any one for
several reasons. First of all, my hometown is Khobar
, Khobar is the city where I was
born. Actually, I did not grow up there because my father's work, my father's
work forced him to travel always. However, my family and I had been
adapting to travel inside and outside Saudi Arabia for twelve years probably.
After a twelve years staying in many different cities, we just came back to
Taif and we settled there. Secondly, since I was a child, I used to play Boxing
.
In addition, my father encouraged me to play this game and I had done six
levels out of seven, I really love this game. Third, another activity that I used
to do is, playing soccer. Indeed, we had a big area to play soccer in my
neighborhood; moreover, I used to be a player in my neighborhood's team.
In sum, I have collected many pictures from my childhood and put them in
one album to remember that wonderful childhood.
